7/1/08 VaSID Honors Three Spiders With First Team Honors Recent graduate Samantha Tract along with rising seniors Mandy Friend and Allison Furstenburg were named to the 2008 VaSID All-State First Team. This is the second VaSID honor for both Tract and Furstenburg and the third for Canandaigua, N.Y. native, Friend.
6/27/08 2008 Richmond Lacrosse Camp Underway Several Spider lacrosse standouts are back in Richmond this week to help head coach Sue Murphy with her annual camp held at First Market Stadium. Both current players and alumni are coaching girls ages 9-18 and showing them around the beautiful University of Richmond campus. PHOTOS
6/11/08 Spiders In The Off-Season Three Richmond women's lacrosse players continue to play this summer amongst the nation's top players. Rising seniors, Allison Furstenburg and Mandy Friend have made the second round of the U.S. National Team tryouts while 2008 graduate Claire Cunniff has been selected to play in the IWLCA/Under Armour North-South Senior All-Star game.
