4/30/08 Four Spider Tennis Standouts Garner A-10 Honors The Richmond tennis team has four players garner Atlantic 10 All-Conference Honors for the 2008 season. Pamela Duran and Erin Clark were named to the first team while Ashlee Vosters and Kelly Tidwell made second team, voted on by all A-10 coaches. The Spiders finished third at the A-10 Championships this season.
4/21/08 Richmond Takes Third At A-10's The Richmond women's tennis team beat No. 1 UMass, 4-0, to take home third place at the 2008 Atlantic 10 Championships. After taking home the top crown the past four years, Temple ended the Spiders' title run in the semi-final match over the weekend.
4/20/08 Temple Ends Spiders' Run At A-10's No. 2 Temple ended the Spiders' Atlantic 10 domination in the semi-final, 4-1. Richmond took the top crown at the championships the past four years and again in 2002. The Spiders took down La Salle in the first round then dominated Rhode Island in the quarterfinals to move on to face Temple in the semis.
